Meetup #71 – Lessons Learned – Failure *Is* An Option
September 15, 2015 @ 12:00 am
September 15, 2015 | 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm | O’Finns Irish Temper, Oakville
Successes
Success stories of startups seem bountiful and inspiring, helping to spread sales of books, strategies, and consults. But what is also quickly glossed over is the spotlight on the failures people endured during their journey. We claim to “celebrate failure,” yet it’s short lived and rarely shared with others. But that’s where the real learning happens. And a post-mortem can be extremely helpful in navigating towards the next steps of attaining business success.
And Failures
We are looking for a panel of 4 inspiring people to join us on September 15 to share your FAILURES, and what you learned from it to achieve SUCCESS again.
Ideally, you:
- Started a business
- Ran into tough obstacles
- Had to make hard decisions
- These decisions didn’t result in success
- You had to shut down the business or the project
- You’re ready to share what failed and how you kept going
If that sounds like you, please let me know if you’d like to become a participant. And share your own lessons learned – sebastian@appliedpda.com
