The MEV Innovation Centre in Milton and Silicon Halton have launched a free series of seminars to help small business owners understand the power of social media in their marketing strategies. The series will take an in depth look at the capabilities of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn for business and give you an opportunity to learn from local experts and network with your fellow entrepreneurs to drive tangible results for your business.

About the presenter:

Sara Hodge is a digital media entrepreneur and founder at Sara Hodge Digital Media Inc., a bespoke Toronto-area digital marketing agency. She has been marketing in the digital space for almost 10 years and in that time has gained and leveraged her experience as a multi-website founder to find success on various social platforms. Sara’s work has allowed her to enjoy a variety of unique marketing opportunities, grow online communities and give back multiple times through charity. Sara has worked on social marketing campaigns with brands large and small, and currently focuses on social media management for select clients, public speaking and teaching social media strategy both online and in person. She also hosts the Connect for Entrepreneurial Women international Facebook group where she offers tips and support to small biz owners around the world. Closer to home, Sara leads a large women’s networking group in the Halton area: Halton Women Networking, serving career women in Halton and beyond.
