This month’s discussion topic: Collaboration Session: IoT & the Environment

The hottest topic around the globe is the present and future impact of climate change. Conservation organizations need data to better monitor natural ecosystems and IoT can provide help – sensors that track water levels and purity, air pollutant concentrations and precipitation levels. Any environmental parameter that affects the well-being of our natural world can assist these organizations as they plan for the future. Join representatives from Conservation Halton and the Halton Conservation Foundation for an open discussion on how IoT can make a difference!

Update: EU-Canada Cluster Matchmaking Event
Having attended the first EU-Canada Cluster Matchmaking Event (June 6th) on behalf of the AMS Halton Working Group and the Milton Chamber of Commerce, Richard Bolton from Centricity360 will present a brief review of the day and how through the new CETA (The Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement) new collaboration partnerships are being struck between Canadian and EU based clusters and businesses and how IoT will play a role.
