Meetup #2 - Living and Working In Halton

Attendance at our second meetup exceeded the inaugural meetup event.   Additionally, a member from the Halton Region Business Development department attended.  Clearly the hi-tech people and businesses in our community find value in Silicon Halton, as shown by the walk-around here and pictures. In our December event we broke into groups of 3 or 4 with the task of grappling with two questions:

1.  What is great about living and/or working in Halton?
2.  What are the challenges of living and/or working in Halton?

We came together afterwards and each group shared their top 2 or 3 pro & con items.  In the spirit of openness and sharing the outcome, the results were posted on (the good and the challenges), the transcribed contents posted on the Silicon Halton LinkedIn group, as well as being shared with the member from Halton Region Economic Development. After the breakout section completed, we ended the "formal" portion of the meetup and again members got to better know each other.  The success of the workgroup, and immediate feedback that it was a useful exercise pointed us towards conducting similar breakouts at future events.
