This interactive presentation will cover the key steps within the hiring process including Hiring Process itself, Job Descriptions, Attracting Candidates, Sourcing, Screening Interviewing, Hiring, and Onboarding. Importantly, it will also cover how to improve your odds at hiring the right candidate.
Most of us have been taught to pay really close attention to the information in the résumé when we are screening candidates and trying to decide who to interview (and who to pass on) – where the person went to school, the degrees and certificates they earned along the way, where they’ve worked before and what they did while they are there… heck, we’ve even been conditioned to check spelling and grammar. Yet, nearly 90% of the time, when people don’t work out, the reason for failure has absolutely nothing to do with what they know, where they worked or how well they can spell – it has to do with who they are, deep down inside, and whether they really ‘fit’ here.
You will learn some very practical tips that will help you get behind the résumé and the ‘interview mask’, and give you a real sense of whether you’ll click together. Productively.
